Mrs. Mary Wright died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Lee, on Tuesday morning after an illness lasting several months, caused by abscess of the liver. She was interred at the New Cemetery, Wed afternoon after funeral services conducted by Rev. J.H. Ashley. Mary Jackson was born near Terre Haute, March 20, 1838. At the age of 11 she moved here with her parents. In 1856 she married John Cochran and to them were born Mary E (now Mrs. John Lee) Wm. H and James H. Cochran. In latter life she married James Wright. In 1889 she united with the Christian church and lived an earnest Christian life. - kbz
